The division employs more than 3600 team members.About the role:Reporting to the Safety Health & Wellbeing Manager - Supply Chain, the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Partner is responsible for implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) strategies across multiple sites, while also ensuring the delivery of strategy to support local site trends, needs and focuses. You will utilise your strong governance background with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with multiple site leadership to ensure compliance is maintained with Self Insurance requirements, Wesfarmers Health's SH&W Management System standards and regulatory/legislative requirements.This role is based at our Dandenong Distribution Centre and will cover the Southern region including - VIC, SA, WA and TAS.What you'll do:Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) - Demonstrate and promote all occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work. Drive safe behaviours by applying a risk-based approach, providing clear direction, setting and enforcing standards, and supporting the delivery of on-site focus topics to promote team member engagement with SH&W.SH&W Leadership - Lead safety across multiple sites, prioritise key activities based on local risks/trends and ensure the development and delivery of strategic improvement initiatives to make Wesfarmers Health a safer place to work every day.Risk Management - Implement Risk Management procedures for site(s) to ensure risks are identified, assessed accurately, and controlled to an acceptable standard. Ensure risks associated with workplace change are successfully managed at site. Ensure risk management processes are embedded at a local level through the development and delivery of training to support on-site SH&W processes.Incident Reporting and Investigation - Support and coach local leadership teams on application of Wesfarmers Health's Care Program Policy and associated recovery at work and early intervention strategies. Lead local leadership to complete timely, high-quality incident investigations, including promoting accountability for corrective action completions/risk management.
