About the Opportunity
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Practitioner (Trainee Medical Officer- TMO) , where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. You'll have the opportunity to manage and oversee the treatment of patients within the service, working closely with a dedicated team of Consultants including Geriatricians and General Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care we provide, as you engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance your expertise and that of your colleagues.
The Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre site is changing its profile with the growing demand for management of older persons with various levels of medical and social complexity. The experience gained will support your development or enhancement of skills including:
Multidisciplinary care models and case-conference Geriatric care including medical assessment, medication management, acute deterioration Engagement with the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and working alongside Geriatricians completing capacity assessments Crucial conversations with patients and substitute decision makers This is more than just a job—it's a chance to make a real difference in the lives of patients while advancing your medical career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
