The Opportunity Are you ready to play a key role in enhancing both customer and shareholder value in superannuation and investment products? As an S&I Pricing Manager at RLA, you'll be involved in pricing, benefit setting, and value management for a variety of products, especially those with bundled savings/insurance and investment guarantees. Your tasks will include developing and implementing benefit recommendations, securing approvals, and ensuring smooth transitions across IT systems, disclosures, and internal processes. You'll also analyse and report on product performance, address complex queries, and contribute to emerging issues and opportunities within the portfolio.
To thrive in this role, you'll need actuarial qualifications and experience with life insurance investment products, such as whole of life and endowment policies. Strong skills in data management, financial analysis, and advanced Excel are essential, and experience with the Prophet actuarial projection system is a plus. You'll work closely with various experts across the organisation and improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for writing reports, board recommendations, and presentations. This role offers a permanent contract and embraces flexible working arrangements. You'll have the freedom to work remotely, with occasional office attendance required on an ad hoc basis, ensuring a harmonious balance between business needs and personal flexibility.

To undertake modelling and develop recommendations for setting benefits across RLA's participating whole of life and endowment products in both Australia and New Zealand – optimising the shared value between policyholders and shareholders.To drive approvals for recommendations, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.To successfully implement changes across the business, including updates to IT systems, disclosures, reporting and internal processes.Analysis and reporting of customer product performance for multiple purposes including management, customers, regulators & trustees.To assist in responding to complex internal and customer queries and complaints about product performance.To leverage skills and experience to contribute to other emerging issues and value opportunities across the superannuation and investments portfolio.Experience and skills required Actuarial qualifications essential. Experience working with investment products offered by life insurers such as whole of life and endowment policies is highly desirable.Experience in managing data, developing financial analysis and building rigorous calculation models, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Prophet actuarial projection system would also be beneficial.Ability to work with other experts across the organisation, including technology, finance, product management and investments.Able to develop, review and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce risk of error and reduce key person dependency.Written and verbal communication skills that include writing pricing reports, board recommendations and presentations.Critical Skills At Resolution Life, we have identified the following critical skills which are key to success in our culture:
