The opportunity: We are searching for a pro-active, quick thinking, and highly organised individual to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scheduling our support workers with our Aged Care and Disability Clients. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling staffOn-call roster (rotating)Database managementResolving issues quickly in a fast-paced environment, working very closely with the other team membersWork well both independently and as part of our teamDaily negotiations with support staff and other departmentsCommunication with Account Coordinators regarding changes of rosters, times, staff members or shiftsMain point of communication for Support Workers when they are unavailable or on leaveFollow through on challenges and issues that arise, creating solutions, resolutions and putting plan B in place where neededCustomer service including answering phonesCommunicating and updating our data system on changes to scheduling and rostersHigh level note taking and attention to detail, ensuring data and changes are up to date and accurate records are noted in our systemRegular follow-up with support staff for their current availabilityFollow, and where necessary, review processes and proceduresAttend Rostering meetings, participate in exchange of information and areas of improvementConversant with all programs and actively promote a positive image of Interchange at all timesFocus strongly on continual improvementsAttendance at workshops and training sessions (including allocated online training)Actively promote Interchange through networking when requiredWe'd like to hear from you if you have the following experience and skills: Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to think quicklyHigh level of verbal and written communicationProven experience in rosteringAbility to converse with all levels of managementAwareness of potential risks using attention to detail and updating informationAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrates sound judgementRostering experience, ideally in an Aged Care/Disability environmentPromote and adhere to our workplace values and behavioursExperience using Visualcare will be highly regardedPermanent, full-time role located in GoulburnRemuneration based on experienceSalary packaging availableWorking in a caring, challenging and fast paced environment building up on your skill setTo be successful for this role, you will need to provide a current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check as well as an NDIS Worker check.
