DescriptionBetashares is seeking a risk and compliance manager with strong superannuation experience to join the team. Reporting to the Head of Super Risk & Compliance, this pivotal role will maintain the superannuation risk and compliance framework to support a growing and dynamic superannuation business. Betashares aims to become the leading customer-focused financial services brand in Australia. To advance this objective, we are actively looking to enhance our product portfolio by introducing a market-leading superannuation solution.
Role ResponsibilitiesMaintaining the superannuation risk and compliance framework, including identifying and implementing ongoing framework improvementsMaintaining the risk registerProactively identifying new and emerging risksConducting risk assessmentsSuperannuation breach, incident and complaints managementManaging the risk and compliance aspects of new and existing outsourced service providersMaintaining superannuation policiesRegulatory liaisonEnsuring ongoing compliance obligations are metPreparing and presenting risk and compliance reporting to the Board and relevant committeesConducting risk and compliance-related staff trainingImplementation of superannuation regulatory changes Skills & Experience7+ years' experience in a risk and compliance role focused on superannuationStrong superannuation experience and knowledge of the associated legislation and compliance requirementsDemonstrable experience providing support to senior management and/or Board in financial services organisationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present ideas, perspectives and issues to senior managementMust be commercially astute, possess strong analytical skills in respect of complex regulatory and commercial issues and be capable of identifying and analysing the associated commercial and risk implicationsStrong technical knowledge, writing skills and attention to detailExcellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently, as well as cooperatively and as a member of a team Reasons To Join UsWhat We Offer Betashares believes our most important asset is our people and we are proud of the culture we have built – but we are always striving to be better.
