About the Role: City of Ballarat is currently seeking a Risk and Assurance Officer.
This role will partner with City of Ballarat business units to support risk management and the delivery of the internal audit program.
The role will ensure the effective performance of City of Ballarat's Audit and Risk Committee.

The Role: Reporting to the Senior Risk Officer, this position partners with business units within the City of Ballarat to identify, manage and report on risk and facilitate the completion of internal audits and recommendations.
The role is responsible for contributing to and coordinating the timely preparation and distribution of high-quality reports to City of Ballarat's Audit and Risk Committee, while ensuring that the Committee is meeting its legislative obligations.
Working in a dynamic and varied environment with a collaborative and fun team, you will deliver a high-quality audit and assurance function to the City of Ballarat.
Qualifications and Experience: Degree or diploma course in risk management/audit/assurance/compliance or related field with relevant experience, preferably in the local government sector.
