REI Super is the fund of choice for those working in the real estate profession.Primary PurposeAs a Risk Analyst at REI Super, you will play a crucial role in advising and supporting the organisation on risk matters. You'll be responsible for implementing our risk management framework and strategy to keep the Fund's risk exposure within defined boundaries.Key AccountabilitiesRisk Management: Implement and maintain the risk management framework, strategy, and policies.Risk Activities: Perform risk assessments, control testing, incident capture, and reporting to ensure compliance.Risk Culture: Promote a positive risk culture by developing and implementing training programs.Risk Controls: Identify, assess, and manage risks with effective preventative and/or detective controls.CPS 230 Compliance: Maintain risk profiles that meet CPS 230 standards.Risk Assessment Support: Provide expert advice on risk-related aspects of strategic projects.Incident Analysis: Conduct insightful analysis on incidents, complaints, and control failures.Reporting: Facilitate regular risk reporting and monitor risk limits.System and Policy Maintenance: Contribute to the upkeep of the Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) system and Risk policies.Business Continuity: Support business continuity management practices.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and model our Code of Conduct.Systems UsedMicrosoft Office SuiteGovernance Risk Compliance (GRC) SystemEducation & SkillsQualifications: Degree in Risk Management or equivalent experience in risk management.Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in risk management, ideally within the Superannuation or Financial Services industry.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.Self-Motivation: Professional, deadline-driven, able to work autonomously with a proactive approach.Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Financial Services regulations, preferably within the Superannuation industry.Other RequirementsLocation: Must work in the office at least 4 days a week.Work Rights: Must have the right to work in Australia.Proactive and highly organizedStrong prioritization skillsOutcome-focused, with the ability to meet tight deadlinesTo Apply:If you have a keen eye for risk and a passion for the superannuation industry, we encourage you to apply and become part of a dedicated team focused on excellence in risk management.
