We are seeking a driven Sales expert with a passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail to specialise in our range of rugs, carpets, flooring, window furnishings and homewares. This part-time Retail Sales Assistant role offers you the opportunity to work in an environment where your expertise will help customers turn their homes and spaces into something special.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide personalised assistance to customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products from our extensive range of rugs, carpets, flooring, and homewares.Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings to answer customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and highlight the features and benefits of each item.Sales: Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with customers, upselling complementary products, and following up on leads.Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the showroom is well-organised and visually appealing, with displays that showcase our products effectively.Customer Follow-Up: Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and follow up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Qualifications: Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably with a focus on rugs, carpets, window furnishings or flooring.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.Passion for interior design and home decor, with a good eye for detail.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in basic computer skills and sales software.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and industry trends.
