Retail Pharmacist (Anzsco 251513)

Patient counselling on the use of prescriptions and OTC medications as necessary;Dispense prescriptions in accordance with Pharmacy Board regulations;Record and complete all dispensing in accordance with Medicare requirements;Report every error or discrepancy or breach of ethics that may occur in relation to the Pharmacy;Ensure that professional knowledge in relation to drugs, usage, dosage and side effects remains up to date;Maintain dispensary stock control by regularly checking 'use by' dates and the rotation of older stock to the front of stock displays;Dispensing scripts, serving customers, ordering dispensary stock, preparing PSA claims, checking scripts prepared by technicians/interns, customer queries;Maintain dress standards and other policies in accordance with the Pharmacy's policies and procedures;Update and maintain all computer hardware/software in regards to dispense and POS (Including backups - daily/weekly/monthly);Open and close the Pharmacy including cashing up the cash register/s and setting up the computer/s as required;Assist Retail Managers when required;Any other duties or directions as required by the employer.The skills or experience required of the position: AHPRA General Registration and 3 years' post qualification experience.
