Restaurant Shift Leader

Shift Leader – All-Day Dining Restaurant - Rye, Mornington Peninsula
We are seeking a Shift Leader for our vibrant all-day dining restaurant in the stunning Mornington Peninsula. This role will oversee either lunch or dinner services, managing up to 200 covers per meal period.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, including waiting and bar staff.
Ensure exceptional service standards during high-volume periods.
Manage and coordinate service for lunch or dinner shifts.
Oversee part of the team with 30+ full-time and part-time staff.
Handle staffing, scheduling, and operational tasks efficiently.
Maintain a positive and professional environment for both staff and guests.
Address any guest concerns promptly to ensure a high-quality dining experience.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in busy, high-turnover restaurant environments.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing waiting and bar staff.
Currently an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor looking for a new challenge.
Enthusiastic about working in a beautiful location with beaches, wineries, wellness, and scenic views.
