We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and drive the success of one of our venues on the Gold Coast. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of service and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of team performance. Guest Experience: Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing concerns and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies that drive traffic and enhance brand awareness. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ordering processes to maintain adequate stock while minimising waste. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, employment, and liquor laws. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on restaurant performance, including sales, labor, and operational metrics for senior management. Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role. Proven track record of driving sales and managing operational budgets. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
