About the role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our vibrant Lucia Tapas Garden team in Tugun, Gold Coast. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving financial success. This full-time position is a key leadership role within our growing hospitality business.
What you'll be doing Manage all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management and budget oversight Lead, coach and develop a high-performing front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer experiences Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new patrons and increase customer loyalty Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations Monitor and analyse business performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement Foster a positive, collaborative working environment that aligns with our company values What we're looking for Proven track record as a Restaurant General Manager or equivalent senior hospitality leadership role Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness to drive revenue and profitability Hands-on experience with inventory management, staffing, budgeting and KPI reporting Thorough knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing, WHS and employment regulations.
