Restaurant And Functions Manager

The position of Restaurant and Functions Manager is a leadership role at the Hotel. The suitable candidate will be on a full-time contract and will be considered an integral part of the management team.To apply for the position, candidates must have experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications.The minimum hours of work per week are 38, though additional hours may be required based on function bookings and business needs.Responsibilities:Establish direct lines of open communication with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure Back of House and Front of House teams work cohesively.Foster a strong culture of service and performance in the restaurant with all staff.Create a complete service guide for all Front of House staff, covering greeting patrons, table service expectations, and patron leaving etiquette.Provide strong team leadership and ensure all staff are performing at their best.Maintain control of the dining room and command respect and accountability for the service of the restaurant.Adopt a proactive and motivated mindset to uphold service standards at all times.Handle complaints professionally to ensure every patron leaves the venue satisfied.Maintain attention to detail across Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value to ensure patron satisfaction and encourage return business.This position reports directly to the Venue Manager.Job Type:Full-timePay:$70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearSchedule:Afternoon shiftDay shiftEvening shiftMorning shiftWork Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location:In person
