Recruitment - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)
On behalf of my clients who are in the Federal Government sector, I am currently looking for an experienced Resourcing Specialist who has current Australian Security Clearance.
Due to the nature of the work, a current Australian Security Clearance of NV1 or above will be required to be considered for this role.
The role will be Canberra based (remote work is not an option) and is initially being offered as a 9-month day rate (which is extremely likely to be extended way beyond this) contract role, and my clients are able to offer an immediate start.
Position Purpose
The Resourcing Specialist will be responsible for vacancy and candidate management, management of entering Job Requisitions in the recruitment system, liaising with Branch heads and managers across the Division, and with external recruitment agencies and stakeholders.
A focus of the role will be the recruitment taskings and strategies and engagement with HR account managers to resolve issues.
Key Areas of Accountability
Assisting Team Leader with the management of the recruitment processes across the Division.
Assisting Managers / Team Leader with the selection processes including screening candidates and conducting first round interviews.
Managing relationships with internal and external recruitment agencies and other suppliers.
Ensuring Pre-employment checks are completed for all recruitment and engaging with Pre-employment to ensure assistance/resolution with timeframes.
Supporting the candidate offer process and ensuring offers are made in accordance with remuneration policy and guidelines.
Assisting with the conduct of external remuneration benchmarking – draft Business Cases.
Coordinating the candidate process with Managers / Team Leader.
Participating in recruitment-related work as directed, within timeframes.
Position Specific Requirements
2-3 years' experience in either a recruitment agency environment or an in-house recruitment role including experience managing volume and bulk recruitment.
Knowledge of recruitment methodologies.
Experience working with an online candidate management system.
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a relevant field.
Previous experience recruiting in the Financial Services sector.
