We haul a variety of freight including coal, intermodal containers, steel, and a range of bulk commodities and materials that keep the region's economy, businesses and households running.About the roleJoin our Intermodal team as a Resource Scheduling Specialist, bringing your expertise in resource allocation to drive innovation and challenge the status quo. In this dynamic, collaborative role, you'll work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 24x7 roster, ensuring our resources are where they need to be for efficient service delivery across Australia.Working closely with the team, you'll be responsible for daily resource allocation, considering crew availability, industrial constraints, asset utilization, and our commitment to safe, customer-focused operations. Note: This role involves working shifts, including every other weekend and some public holidays.Key Responsibilities:Allocate crew and assets to meet daily work plansCoordinate with stakeholders to align crew and task allocation with operational needsMaintain and update rosters, managing any changes as neededIdentify process improvements for greater efficiencyEnsure compliance with health and safety standardsAbout YouYou bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative, innovative approach.
