Our name is well known and respected in the community and that of the surrounding areas and we find ourselves as one of the preferred residential Aged Care facilities in South Western Sydney.
The Role Join our caring team as a Residential Care Officer at Abel Tasman.
You'll provide daily support and personal care to residents, helping to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
You'll also assist with care plans, monitor well-being, and ensure residents feel comfortable, valued, and at home.
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily support and assistance to residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity.Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, tailored to individual needs.Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages residents to feel safe, valued, and respected.Work closely with other care staff to implement and follow care plans, ensuring all physical, emotional, and cultural needs are met.Build strong, meaningful relationships with residents, offering companionship and understanding.Ensure a safe and clean living environment by assisting with housekeeping and other tasks as needed.Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care activities.Conduct Induction, orientation and mentoring of new staff.Assist the Clinical Care Manager in conducting annual competency for Clinical Care staff.Conduct ongoing mentoring of Clinical staff.Benefits and Perks Strong focus on team collaborationStrong management supportNon-for-profit salary packagingEmployee Assistance ProgramIf you are passionate about people and driving a positive organisational culture, we'd love to hear from you!
