Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia offers experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations, including Ayers Rock Resort in the iconic Red Centre and tourism facilities in Mossman Gorge, located in tropical Queensland.

This role is located at our office in Sydney, which serves as a central hub, providing support to our operational teams based in our two locations.
We are seeking a customer-focused front office/reservations professional with high attention to detail and effective communication skills to join our Voyages Travel Centre Team as Reservations Specialist.
This role will see you support the reservations process and other service issues for guests, trade partners, and/or internal stakeholders by providing high-quality customer service, accurate data entry, and efficient processing of administrative tasks.

Key duties: Providing superior customer service in all communication with prospective customers and current customers, be they guests or industry partners.
This will include responding to inbound calls, emails, and chat messages, or making outbound calls and writing outbound emails.Maximising Voyages revenue through closing sales opportunities, including opportunities to upsell or cross-sell.Completing administrative processes that support the reservations process or other service issues. To be successful for this role you will have: 2-3 years' experience in a similar customer service role in hotel front office, reservations, or travel.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Outlook.Knowledge of Micros Fidelio Opera Reservations or Property Management System and/or other Hotel Front Office Systems (preferred).Sound knowledge of hotels and resorts, their services, and facilities.
