We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with a strong background in biomedical science or engineering to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of orthopaedic research as part of the prestigious Motion Research Nucleus, affiliated with the University of the Sunshine Coast.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct clinical research studies in orthopaedics with a focus on anterior total hip arthroplasty.Collaborate on the preparation of research manuscripts and publications.Assist in writing and submitting research grants to secure funding for ongoing and future projects.QualificationsA Master's or Doctorate degree in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in clinical research and publication of scientific manuscripts.Demonstrated experience in writing successful research grants.Desirable: Experience in the field of orthopaedics, although not mandatory.
