Your role We're seeking a Director-level research analyst to join UBS's Australian Metals & Mining equities research team. Your responsibilities include expanding research coverage of emerging companies in the Metals & Mining sector, developing financial models, writing research reports, building corporate relationships, and engaging with clients. The environment is dynamic and challenging, with flexible location options across UBS offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.

Your team You will be part of the Australian Equities Research team, renowned as Australia's leading research team. The team covers diversified mining, gold, base metals, lithium, rare earths, and commodities sectors, providing insightful analysis on companies and macroeconomic strategies across Australia and New Zealand.
Your expertise 4-6 years' experience in Equity Research, preferably in Metals & Mining Strong analytical skills and ability to assess data impact on valuations Highly organized, able to multitask under pressure Excellent communication skills for presenting recommendations Proficiency in financial modelling and investment analysis About us UBS is the world's largest global wealth manager, operating in over 50 countries.
