About The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for aRenewable Energy Auditor. This newly created role will be responsible for:
Providing expert assistance and advice to Safety Officers on a broad range of technical, risk and compliance issues.
Providing high level assistance in the management and monitoring of operational and technical procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements; and which contributes to the achievement of safety and technical compliance of electrical installations within South Australia and the use of safe work practices within the electricity industry.

Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated detailed knowledge of AS/NZ 3000, AS/NZ 5033, AS/NZ 4777 and AS/NZ 5139. The Wiring Rules and other standards called up in AS/NZS 3000 a comprehensive knowledge of the Electricity Act 1996, and Electricity (General) Regulations 2012 or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
Demonstrated high level ability to effectively and work closely with the team of people and to efficiently utilise staff expertise and a range of other resources in order to achieve the best possible outcomes towards the successful achievement of organisational goals.
Significant experience in providing expert consultation and advisory services on a wide range of complex electrical safety and technical compliance issues.
Demonstrated well-developed capacity to undertake complex investigations, research and analyse and effectively identify strategic and operational issues including the ability to think laterally in order to develop creative solutions, make sound and timely decisions and prepare and present clear and concise reports with recommendations.

Unrestricted Electrical South Australian Workers Registration
Solar accreditation
Remuneration
OPS6 $85,366 - $89,897 per annum
Full time role, working 37.5 hours per week

Special Conditions
This is term vacancy for up to 2 years.
South Australian Car class driver’s license is essential.
Work will involve the investigation of fatalities and serious injuries resulting from electrical accidents which may involve the examination of deceased persons.
Knowledge on Smart metering requirements and PV Inverter operations required.
