THE ROLE The Relocation Support Officer will play a key support role to the relocation team with their work to relocate households from their home while social housing redevelopments are completed. The relocation team works closely with a range of service providers and contractors to support households to move.
Under the direction of the Manager, Relocation Operations, the Relocation Support Officer will work directly with the relocation team to coordinate the engagement of contractors such as removalists, Australia Post, telecommunication and utility providers to support households with a seamless transition to a new home.
The Relocation Support Officer will support both the Manager, Relocation Operations and the broader relocations team with project reporting, budget and expense management related to household relocations, efficient and effective workforce and project management meetings.
Are you:Highly organised with an eye for detail and demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of projects?Familiar with procurement processes and capable of establishing reliable relationships with business partners?A good problem solver with good communication skills?ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Effectively manage and develop processes to maintain corporate information systems for records management, financial information, contractor payments and ministerial correspondence.Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and the preparation of presentations, reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.COVID-19 VACCINATION The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice, given their individual circumstances.
