When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.About the roleThe Relocation Officer is a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Resilient Lands Program relocation concierge service by providing specialist advice and support throughout the relocation process, helping flood affected community members effectively relocate to flood safe lands.As the successful Relocation Officer, you will:Support the customer relocation journey and decision-making process for eligible community membersWork collaboratively with Resilient Lands Program team and external service providersProvide advice and make appropriate referrals to assist clients with complex support and housing needsEstablish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and problem solvingMaintain accurate records of customer interactionsSupport reporting and data analysis to inform policy and program improvements.About youHigh calibre candidates will have strong experience in:Dealing with a diverse cohort of customers with varying levels of vulnerability.Working across a broad range of policy and processes associated with relocation.Achieving buy-in and support of multiple stakeholders, balancing competing needs, interests and demands, in a high pressure and high-volume work environment.Joining our team with a rewarding job in a community-driven agency is just the start.
