The Role
Our Tatura site is an icon in the region, well known around the world for its quality dairy products. As well as being the country's largest producer of cream cheese, it also produces infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.
The Reliability Engineer role is focused on ensuring effective maintainability of assets, critical spares, asset care plans, performance tracking criteria and whole of life cost forecasting as key outputs as well as being a key stakeholder within the scope, design, implementation, commissioning, and operational readiness processes for delivery of new assets. This role sits on the maintenance leadership team and is a key player for our site. If you also have experience leading teams or projects, this could be your next career opportunity!
Responsibilities
Supervision of contractors during planned project and maintenance activities.
Maintain and improve equipment efficiency.
Problem-solve breakdowns using structured techniques.
Ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner.
Analyse breakdown data to improve maintenance activities and reduce cost.
About You
Experience in engineering or a highly experienced trade background.
Very strong communication skills – ability to communicate with many different stakeholders.
Previous experience in continuous improvement and project management.
Ability to interpret data and use this to make decisions and improvements.
Be a self-starter to ensure best outcomes.
