The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer who takes pride in asset management and is able to identify trends which may affect asset function.
Ensuring asset function and assessing the likelihood of failure is imperative to the continuity of the mining work being carried out and so we are keen to find someone with a solid understanding of maintenance reliability methods.
This is a site-based role with FIFO roster in which the accommodation and flight will be provided.
What the role entails Provide maintenance and reliability engineering support for mining. Lead and conduct high level root cause analysis (RCA) for asset failures. Predictive maintenance Analyse performance data to identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives. Recommend strategies to support high levels of asset safety, reliability, and integrity. Provide technical engineering support to site maintenance departments. Execute technical based projects to improve plant performance. What you will need: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering or similar A solid understanding of plant maintenance practices Demonstrated experience in mining, mineral processing, or manufacturing businesses Strong background in using maintenance reliability methods i.e.
defect elimination, asset criticality analysis, asset strategy development, RCA and condition monitoring Proven ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels and particularly with maintenance trades Sound understanding of relevant assets i.e.
Fixed Plant or HME Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strong technical ability to dissect problems. Strong maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination skills We are looking for people that are ambitious and able to use their initiative to drive outcomes.
