In this role, you'll:By working amongst depot maintenance operations, in collaboration with OEM's and suppliers, the Reliability Engineer plays a pivotal role in reducing the life cycle cost of rolling stock assets and is encouraged to explore and implement predictive maintenance opportunities to optimise Sydney Trains' maintenance strategy. This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2025.
About YouYou are an experienced Reliability Engineer with relevant tertiary qualifications, having worked in a multi-disciplined engineering team with responsibility for the delivery of safe and reliable assets. You have sound data analysis and reporting skills with an in-depth understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) methodologies. You are a strategic thinker with sound judgement and negotiation skills, capable of solving complex problems and evaluating alternative courses of action to develop financially sustainable solutions. To be successful in this role you will be driven, self-motivated and safety conscious. Competence in or working towards Lean Six Sigma Accreditation issued by a recognised Accredited Supplier is highly desirable.
