Release Manager

ACT / NSW / VIC Locations Accepted Flexible Work Accepted Baseline Clearance MANDATORY We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Release Manager to join a small sized Federal Government agency ASAP!

Role You will be responsible for the following deliverables:
Develop and maintain the release schedule, balancing technical dependencies, business requirements, and stakeholder engagement Experience managing risks and inter-dependencies associated with releases and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies Facilitate releases into key environments in consultation with the relevant stakeholders Work with developers to understand impacts of code merges Conduct release readiness reviews and quality assurance checks Ensure stability of the platform post release and manage post-incident reviews, including any applicable documentation Capabilities To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following areas:
5+ years demonstrated release management experience in a complex technical environment Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field Ability to work under pressure and have the drive to continually improve and optimise release processes Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams up to task completion Organisational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail Experience working within an Agile delivery environment High level of proficiency with Azure DevOps, Pipelines and other DevOps tools Working knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps and CI/CD, with proven experience of release management tools How to Apply To register interest in this role, simply contact Joshua on or Click APPLY !
