Release Manager

ACT / NSW / VIC Locations AcceptedFlexible Work AcceptedBaseline Clearance MANDATORYWe are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Release Manager to join a small sized Federal Government agency ASAP!RoleYou will be responsible for the following deliverables:Develop and maintain the release schedule, balancing technical dependencies, business requirements, and stakeholder engagementExperience managing risks and inter-dependencies associated with releases and implementing appropriate mitigation strategiesFacilitate releases into key environments in consultation with the relevant stakeholdersWork with developers to understand impacts of code mergesConduct release readiness reviews and quality assurance checksEnsure stability of the platform post release and manage post-incident reviews, including any applicable documentationCapabilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following areas:5+ years demonstrated release management experience in a complex technical environmentTertiary qualification in Computer Science or related fieldAbility to work under pressure and have the drive to continually improve and optimise release processesExperience in coordinating cross-functional teams up to task completionOrganisational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detailExperience working within an Agile delivery environmentHigh level of proficiency with Azure DevOps, Pipelines and other DevOps toolsWorking knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps and CI/CD, with proven experience of release management toolsHow to ApplyTo register interest in this role, simply contact Joshua on or Click APPLY!About CompasCompas Pty Ltd is a Canberra based wholly Australian owned, medium-sized Information Technology Services Company since 1987.
