Regulatory Services Officer – Opportunities

Regulatory Services Officer – Opportunities Your role is key within regulatory services and will assist the Regulatory Services Supervisor – Animal Management with investigating complex animal matters that may lead to enforcement, appeals, and legal action including regulated dog management and barking dog CRMs.
You will also maintain high customer service standards and effective CRM response by:
Undertaking rigorous and detailed investigations of alleged offences and implementing correct regulatory action (e.g. warnings, infringements, enforcement notices, impoundment, etc.) Assisting with the training and mentoring of Regulatory Services staff Assisting in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures Implementing an annual Declared Dogs (dangerous & menacing) inspection program Taking a lead and/or providing advice for staff in complex animal control matters Engaging in discussions, investigations, and negotiations with the public to achieve education and ensure compliance Once fully trained, being included in an 'on-call' roster for provision of services after hours and on weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr
