About you The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Registered nurses in Surgical Admissions/Day Surgery form a key part of the patient's health journey through the perioperative suite at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital.
They conduct health assessments and admit patients for surgery, care for patients pre and post operatively and facilitate patient education before discharge.
This position requires morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays Key Responsibilities Demonstrated ability in planning, co-ordinating and providing clinical patient centred nursing care Continuously promote and support nursing best practice and education to other staff, patients, and their families Demonstrated application of effective interpersonal communication skills within the multidisciplinary team A demonstrated commitment to observing infection control procedures in all areas of practice Commitment to developing advanced clinical knowledge and skill in the defined area of practice.
