Come join our fantastic team on Xavier 7 South! Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD.
Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high-quality patient centred care. Xavier 7 South (X7S) is currently a 32-bed mixed medical ward.
At present Xavier 7 South has a diverse mix of specialties which primarily include Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology. X7S also currently encompasses inpatient medical oncology cancer services.

About you:
Are you a skilled and energetic Registered Nurse who possess a passion for person centred care? Do you have experience within an acute medical setting? If so, we would love to hear from you.
You'll have a Nursing Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, and a supportive group of experienced Registered Nurse backing you up. All our teams are also fully dedicated to collaborating with you.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency and a minimum 12 months post graduate acute hospital experience preferred.
3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
