The Role

UHC are seeking to engage Registered Nurse to partner with a male participant based in Hervey Bay, QLD 4655. Our Participant is requiring the highest complex care and is non-verbal.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical point of contact for support workers during shift timesProvide immediate guidance and address clinical concerns raisedConduct regular assessments of participants health statusMonitor and document any changes in participants condition and ensure prompt response timesCollaborate with Allied Health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care planFacilitate communication between support workers and Allied Health professionals to implement necessary adjustments to participants careProvide ongoing training to support staffEnsure all consumables related to participants care are stocked, stored and used correctlyOversee the accuracy of the participants clinical documentsRaise any significant concerns or changes in the participants condition to the clinical coordinatorDocument and report any incidents or issues that arise during the course of care

Skills & Experiences

You will be required to have at least 6-12 months' experience working as a RN.You will be required to have full working rights in Australia.Current First Aid / CPR CertificateCurrent NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtainCurrent Working with Children Check or willing to obtainNDIS 'Worker Orientation' ModuleNDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication' ModuleAHPRA registration without any restrictionsAccess to a car, Drivers Licence and Insurance is required.
