We are seeking a Registered Nurse Community to provide safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.
The Role:Consistent with ongoing experience strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.
The Team:The George Town District Hospital and Community Services provide 15 acute care beds, physiotherapy, dental and podiatry services, and other visiting providers.Other services provided by the Hospital include Palliative care, Community Nursing, Home Help/Personal Care.Nursing quarters are available, co-located on site for staff to utilise with shared kitchen and bathroom amenities.George Town Hospital is approximately a 35-minute drive from Launceston, centrally located, close to supermarkets/eateries and a five-minute drive to the beaches of Low Head.Why Tasmania:Tasmania, Australia's only island state, offers unparalleled natural beauty and a luxurious lifestyle. Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 16 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:$75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.You'll have access to a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
