Register Nurse Level 1 - Coronary Care & Cardio Thoracic Unit About the role Mater Townsville's Coronary Care & Cardio Thoracic Unit is currently seeking Registered Nurses to join their team.
We have multiple positions available for registered nurses of varying levels of experience.
Working alongside Mater Education, we are able to continue to upskill you and transition into specialty.
We offer great flexibility within your employment, being open to either Permanent Part Time, Casual, or an initial Fixed-Term Contract – Choose the employment that suits you and your lifestyle! The CCU/CTU is a 40-bed unit (8 dedicated Coronary Care beds), providing a high level of care for acutely ill and chronic cardiovascular/cardiothoracic patients, catering for elective and emergency admissions.
Offering a wide variety of cardiac services to the community, the team strives for excellence in customer care and best practice.
Salary range: $41.47 - $53.30/hr plus super and salary packaging up to $15,900 annually What you'll be doing As a Registered Nurse, you will provide quality care to patients with particular consideration to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
You will be willing to work with the current team to plan and deliver clinical excellence.
Your skills as a Registered Nurse may see you also be an active participant in quality and safety activities.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAPreferred experience in critical care nursingCritical Care Certificate or working towards – desirable but not essentialDemonstrated ability to plan and coordinate patient care and competency in clinical problem solvingAvailable to work across all shiftsDemonstrated competency in written and verbal communications and the ability to maintain accurate clinical and assessment dataMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
