What you'll be doing Practicing and promoting safe, efficient, and effective nursing care for people experiencing mental health problems that reflect current National practice standards for mental health, current standards of nursing practices, and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
All nursing positions are expected to be able to work across all components of the mental health service including inpatient and community-based services.
Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and ability relevant to the area within the mental health service.
Demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome-based care.
Participation in a seven-day rotating roster including public holiday and night duty.
