Community and Aged Care Services, Greater Newcastle Sector, Community Nursing are currently seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our Eligibility List for upcoming Permanent, Temporary, Full-timePart-time and casual positions at any of our 6 locations - Eastlakes CHC (Windale), Westlakes CHC (Toronto), Newcastle CHC, Raymond Terrace CHC, Nelson Bay CHC Western Newcastle CHC (Wallsend). The successful candidates placed on the Eligibility list will be considered for future permanent or temporary or casual positions for the next 18 months across any of our 6 sites.

About the roles:
The position will see you is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence- based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes at any of our 6 sites. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team and will work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as families, groups and communities. 

Services provided across our 6 sites include:
•    Wound assessment and clinical management 
•    Generalist management of PICC Lines, Portacaths and Clexane  
•    Short term Diabetic follow-up post change in medication regime
•    Specific therapeutic medication management
•    Palliative care support in conjunction with other palliative care service providers
•    General nursing assessments and subsequent referral to other service providers 
•    Continence assessment and clinical management
•    Urinary Catheter care and clinical management

Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be constantly utilised for building and, maintaining effective, positive relationships with internal and external audiences. You will be a personable, diligent Registered Nurse who can be adaptable and flexible in an ever changing environment.
