DSI Underground (a SANDVIK owned company) is one of Australia's largest, leading manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of specialist strata reinforcement and support products to the underground coal and metalliferous mining sectors. DSI Underground also provides galvanising and other related services to the mining, civil, marine, commercial, and industrial industries.
Job tasks and responsibilitiesBased in Mackay and reporting to the National Sales Manager-Coal, the duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to:
A drive to identify potential opportunities and establish new customer relationshipsHave a strong knowledge of our core markets and application engineering of DSI products.Experienced composing reports on elements that are affecting our business inclusive of corrective actions and activities relative to developing and growing our businessLead our Sales Team ensuring outcomes align with core objectives and achievement of budgets and growth targetsBe motivated to exceed Sales and Profitability targets and management of working capitalUndertake sales and service negotiations with customer decision makersUndertaking technical presentations highlighting the DSI product rangeSupport existing customers with technical through the provision of both Underground Audits and Pull TestingPromote new products to existing and new customers that will support their business operationsEnsure service levels are maintained within agreed Service LevelsA willingness to undertake domestic travel and work underground as required.About youTo be considered for this opportunity you will possess all the following attributes:
