An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Project Leader to oversee and manage these pivotal renewable energy projects. Based in any major city across Australia, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that contribute to the nation's clean energy future.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wind, solar, and BESS projects.
Manage project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Oversee the coordination of project activities across multiple locations.
Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
Manage project budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting.
Implement best practices in project management and ensure continuous improvement.
Liaise with clients and partners to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
Drive innovation and efficiency in project execution and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy (wind, solar, or BESS).
Proven experience in leading large-scale energy projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of Australian energy market regulations and standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to travel as required for project oversight.
