Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development)Our client is seeking an experienced Manager within Out of Home Care (OOHC) to oversee multiple residential care homes across South West Sydney. Reporting to the OOHC Operations Manager, the Regional Manager will supervise and support up to 5 House Supervisors to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This role calls for a compassionate leader committed to positively impacting the lives of young people.Key Details:WFH with the expectation to conduct regular site visits and provide face to face supervision with house managers in Shellharbour$105-115k + vehicle + superannuationBirthday day offAccess to modern training platform and an internal learning and development supportResponsibilities:Ensure case management systems are current and compliant with policies and procedures.Attend external stakeholder and case management meetings as needed.Collaborate with HR and management on child protection investigations, if required.Oversee compliance in reporting notifiable events.Review critical incidents and reports prior to external submission.Manage onboarding and provide supervision for House Supervisors.Conduct regular performance reviews and development feedback for supervised staff.Organise team meetings and coordinate rostering and emergency shift coverage.Prepare monthly Area Manager reports and monitor budget adherence.Ensure adherence to Child Safe Standards and work health and safety requirements.Serve on-call to support residential homes as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field (or evidence of progress toward completion).Leadership experience within the OOHC space and experience providing supervision.NSW Paid Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or eligibility to obtain).Consent to be added to the Residential Care Workers Register.Valid first aid certificate or willingness to obtain within one month.Australian driver's license.Why partner with abrs to secure your next role?Our values aren't just things we believe in.
