We are looking for Refrigeration Mechanics to join our sites in Melbourne (Truganina or Dandenong South). Working alongside a team of experts, you will have an opportunity to learn from the best and work autonomously to complete various tasks. Our Refrigeration Mechanics work on Transport Trailers and Trucks/Vans. We can assist you in developing skills in these areas if you have had limited experience.
Day to day you will be: Servicing, completing repairs and maintenance work on refrigerated equipment Using your problem-solving skills to come up with ideas to solve any issues that may arise Handling breakdowns during both scheduled hours and the afterhours roster Working independently or as a part of a team to complete work both onsite at Iceman and offsite at customer's yards Liaising with the customers to ensure that all work is complete to their expectations Using your attention to detail to ensure your work is of good quality What Iceman Group can offer you: A long-term career opportunity Industry training and development A friendly supportive team environment, with "one for all" culture A safe working environment where everyone's ideas are listened to and valued A competitive remuneration with yearly reviews Our requirements for the role are: Refrigeration licence Current drivers licence AQF Certificate III for an Aircon and Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience Restricted electrical ticket is desirable Being in business for over 35 years, Iceman Group has continued to expand and grow each year.
