About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Future Student Engagement Project Officer, Fast Forward to join the team.
The Future Student Engagement Project Officer, Fast Forward helps to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate the "Fast Forward" program while managing and servicing the broader engagement requirements of the schools involved in the program.
The primary role of the Future Student Engagement Project Officer, Fast Forward is to increase participation levels in Higher Education of students from targeted equity groups.
The Future Student Engagement Project Officer, Fast Forward prepares and monitors work plans, organises and runs program-related events, presentations and activities (including on-campus, in-school and online delivery modes), liaises with internal and external stakeholders, gathers and compiles program and participation registrations and evaluative data, researches best practice and innovative approaches, and writes reports and briefings.
The Future Student Engagement Project Officer, Fast Forward contributes to promotional and information materials and helps to develop evaluation frameworks and mechanisms.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 3rd December 2025 and will be based at Western's Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

About You To excel in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in project management and/or training in the Education sector.
You are highly organised and self-directed, with exceptional communication skills that enable you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be proactive, resilient, and skilled in research and data analysis to be able to draw insights that enhance program offerings.
A passion for social justice and an understanding of the challenges facing students from diverse, non-traditional backgrounds will drive your approach to this role.
Working with Children Check: It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
