Big Yellow was formed in 2021 to meet a gap in the market where small to medium sized mining enterprises require a mining services company that also provides the leadership, technical expertise and management they need. What differentiates us from other mining servicing companies is that we are a 'people business'. As we embark on the next phase of our growth, we are looking to add an experienced Recruitment/HR Advisor to our Welshpool based team.
You will play a key role in the end to end recruitment, onboarding and ongoing support of open pit production mining staff working across all key business areas.
Drill & BlastMaintenanceMobile CrushingIf you've worked across the above areas of open pit mining in a Recruitment and HR capacity - we'd love to hear from you. Ideally you will be experienced in project startups of 50+ staff in this space.
Our practical approach to mining is evident across all levels of the business, so you'll find building relationships with Project Managers easy, enabling you to read the play on what is needed to maintain success out on site.
Simple systems will enable you to hit the ground running, providing a practical, hands on approach to the end to end recruitment needs, and as we grow, so too will our systems.
If you have used INX or People Tray - then great, you'll understand the workings. Site mobilisation needs aren't too complex, allowing you to quickly move people through the process without fuss.

You won't be locked up in the office though. Regular overnight visits to projects in the Mid West and Goldfields are an essential part of fully understanding the requirements and help play a key role in building relationships with our teams and spreading a positive culture.
