Reporting directly to our State Manager, we are looking for somebody to move into a Branch Manager role and lead a team of dedicated recruiters and admin staff.

The opportunity and about the role:This is a great opportunity to work with a team of Recruitment professionals working across our Travel Nurse division.
The Travel Nurse division is responsible for placing Registered Nurses into various short and long-term contracts across the country.

Key responsibilities include supporting our existing client base, attracting new business, networking locally to attract the best nursing talent to HCA, and being active in day-to-day duties within a tight-knit team.

This role leads the Travel Nurse business to ensure achievement of revenue and growth targets in accordance with the strategic plan / P&L.
The role has day-to-day operational management responsibility for business development, client and candidate management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Take an active role in the development of the annual budget and setting of financial targets for the Travel Nurse business.Oversee the weekly targets for Travel Nurse and Metro operations.Identify new initiatives to secure new long-term profitable revenue streams, as well as investigate new lines of business that are complementary.Work with the National Manager to ensure the state or regional business has identified and implemented appropriate growth strategies to achieve its strategic goals.Work with the Operations team to identify areas of shortfalls in supply or opportunities for business growth.Familiarise and work in accordance with WHS and QMS systems, policies, and procedures.Actively identify, develop and implement business process improvements and efficiencies within your area.Maintain quality and compliance standards as per HCA policy and client contractual requirements.Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager.What you will bring to the role:

Healthcare experience is not essential.

Qualifications:Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in marketing, commerce, or business disciplines.Skills:Sound financial analysis skills.High-level communication skills, written and verbal.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to confidently facilitate meetings and deliver presentations.Strong project management skills.Experience:Demonstrated experience in new business development initiatives and activities preferably within a commercial environment.Significant experience and demonstrated success in sales management within a service business.Previous project/change management experience.Strong leadership skills.Strong and inspiring leadership skills with proven experience leading medium-large sized teams.
