Resources company seeks an experienced Recruitment Advisor to deliver effective and efficient end to end expert recruitment and selection services.
About the role:
Our client, a resources company, is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment and Engagement Advisor to undertake a full-time, 2-3 month contract based in the Melbourne for an immediate start. As the Recruitment and Engagement Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient end to end expert recruitment and selection services and outcomes to a client portfolio.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Reporting directly to the Recruitment Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Perform recruitment and selection activities in accordance with People Standards and Recruitment Procedures
Engage the Hiring Manager and Discipline Leads (as needed) to understand the key requirements of the requisition(s)
Establish requisition delivery expectations by developing a Recruitment Agreement for each requisition
Develop, initiate and run an effective candidate sourcing plan with pull (i.e. advertising) and push (i.e. database search, referrals) candidate attracting sourcing activities as required
Perform candidate selection activities in partnership with Hiring Manager and/or Discipline Lead
Perform candidate verification activities (i.e. Pre Employment Medical, Identification, Reference Checks)
Extend verbal offers of employment (employees) and prepare written offers of employment for approval and distribution
Extend verbal offers of engagement (contingent labour) to Worker representative (i.e. Agent) and prepare contract documentation for approval and distribution
Educate, guide and coach Hiring Managers to ensure recruitment competence and compliance to People Standards and Procedures
Document all recruitment and selection activities in Recruitment Database Management System and Group HR Folders
Work on Recruitment Projects as directed (i.e. Talent Pool, Vacation Campaign, Graduate Campaign)
Travel to Sites and attend industry events as approved by Manager
Experience and Skills:
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:
4+ years in end to end experience with In-House Internal Recruitment or On-Site RPO Internal Recruitment
Previous internal recruitment experience within the resources sector
Proven experience managing multiple requisitions over a broad portfolio of sites and job types
Experience in internal recruitment interdependencies (i.e. Succession Planning, Remuneration Model, Leadership Framework)
Experience in PageUp Recruitment system (mandatory) and Recruitment Database Management System (RDMS)
A proven track record of excellent stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in HR or Recruitment and/or relevant work experience within a similar In-House Internal Recruitment role.
A current car licence will be required
