The Opportunity
The Receptionist is responsible for contributing towards making the G8 Support Office a great place to work, and an Employer of Choice. This includes but is not limited to, overseeing the day-to-day function of reception, co-ordination the front desk as well as welcoming new team members to G8.
Your day-to-day
No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate general maintenance and safety of the office
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and directed to the right department
Conduct office inductions with all new starters
Handle mail distribution and assist with light administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing
Update the Support Office Database with new starters as required
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls while handling general inquiries
Ensure visitors and contractors are signed in via the system.
Receipting of various invoices as required
Any other duties as required by the Office Manager
About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:
Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role, 12 months is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check
