About The Role As a Category Manager, you'll lead and drive profitability and product alignment with our partners and customers. You'll focus on delivering a customer-centric shopping experience through tailored, solution-based offerings.
Key Responsibilities Lead category management initiatives to maximise sales, margin, and market share within the apparel sector. Develop and execute category strategies tailored to trade customer requirements. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive end-to-end category performance. Negotiate with suppliers to optimise product assortment and pricing strategies. About You Extensive Apparel Category Management Experience: Proven track record in category management, showcasing deep understanding of the category lifecycle from planning, product selection to pricing, promotion, and performance analysis. Category Strategy Development & Execution: Development & execution of strategies that drive growth and enhance the overall customer experience. Customer-Centric Approach: Strong background in working with trade customers and understanding their unique needs. Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Ability to develop forward-thinking strategies, backed by robust data analysis, leveraging insights to make informed decisions, adapt to market changes, and maintain competitive advantage in a fast-paced retail environment. Relationship Building: Skilled at fostering relationships across departments, suppliers, and external partners. Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence at various organisational levels. Advanced Technical Skills: Proficient in data analysis tools and systems, with advanced computer skills to manage data and reporting requirements.
