The purpose of the role is to assist the Ranger in Charge with the management of field centre operations and resources for the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources.
About the roleThe Ranger will assist the Ranger in Charge oversee field centre operations and resources for the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural assets. The Ranger has a varied workday, ensuring effective management of people and resources to increase the safety and satisfaction of visitors to the Maria Island Field Centre and Triabunna region.

The region features awe-inspiring natural beauty including a World Heritage listed Convict Site, a range of native species including threatened wildlife, unique cultural heritage, pristine beaches, and clear water supporting marine reserves teeming with biodiversity.
