Quarry Plant Operator - Hillview Quarry

Mawsons is a family-run business that produces quality construction materials throughout Northern Victoria and Southern NSW. Mawsons now owns Milbrae; another significant business in the Concrete and Quarrying industry. We are currently seeking confident, motivated and highly organised people to join our team in the capacity of Quarry Plant Operator based at Hillview (near Griffith, NSW).The Quarry Plant Operator role will involve excavator, loader & dump truck operation as well as screening, crushing and quarry plant operation, maintenance and general quarry duties. Recent operator pay increases and the move to a more favourable overtime structure ensures industry competitive rates.Responsibilities:A positive attitude, good work ethic and the ability to work in a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer literacyTo be successful, you will have strong customer service skills and show attention to detail. On-the-job training will be provided; however, previous quarry/relevant experience would be an advantage.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible with working hours and have a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental care.
