Quality Assurance Officer - 2x Permanent, full-time roles available!

We are currently looking for 2 Quality Assurance Officers to join our Quality and Risk team here at Newcastle Anglican!

The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle (Newcastle Anglican) is the overarching body for some well-known Hunter and Central Coast organisations - Anglican Care, Samaritans, Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation and Anglican parishes working primarily in the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.

About the opportunity
The Quality Assurance Officer forms part of the Quality Assurance team and supports the assurance program and internal auditing processes of Newcastle Anglican.
By undertaking internal audit and assurance reviews, this position provides independent advise on adequacy an effectiveness of governance and risk management with a focus on continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people to join us in this integral role, reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance.

**Some of the key deliverables of this role include**: Formulates reports, data collation, facilitating compliance, policy directive and driving evidence informed practice. Respond in a timely manner to all quality assurance related queries Uphold effective risk culture in line with organisational values and strategic priorities. Conduct and report on periodic internal sense reviews and undertake internal audits. Continuous review of compliance and legislation with NDIS, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and other governing bodies. Monitor and promote quality standards and national indicators across disability, aged care and child services. Provide opportunities to improve the quality assurance process to support the leadership team in making informed decisions. Monitor and support plan for continuous improvement of services.

We're looking for someone who can genuinely add value to the organisation in this role, however experience across NDIS, Aged Care or Child, Youth and Family services would be advantageous.
