Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer on an initial short term contract, who will play a fundamental role in the development, coordination and quality maintenance of plant policies and operating procedures. Your new role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll ensure the streamlined operations of the quality group in line with the business objectives of the organisation without compromising on safety and reliability. You will collaboratively within a small team of experts with support on daily operational activities in the Quality group, and will work cross-functionally across the business to ensure the proper flow of communication is established and maintained.

What you'll need to succeed
Strong communication and customer service skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships in all levels of the business
Ability to continuously improve, implement and maintain the HACCP system to Codex standards to ensure compliance
Experience developing and maintaining policies and related technical checklists as well as standards and procedures manual
Maintain Quality Systems to ensure regulatory compliance with respect to Weights and measures, packaging, The Dairy Act 2000, Export regulations, Food Standards etc. and quality systems in accordance with ISO******2015+ click to revealand FSSC 22000 standards
Bachelor of Science or related field
Collaborative, team player that can take responsibility and make decisions
Understanding of accredited processes and practices of external authorities (ISO, Dept. of Agriculture, DFSV, NATA)
Ability to be flexible, innovative and self-motivated
