Care Group Community Services purpose is to enhance our communities and alleviate hardship through the provision of support services, accommodation, and emergency care to those in need.
Our team provide in-depth framework, staffing, support solutions, accommodation and care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work in partnership with families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and other internal departments to provide personalised support and accommodation.
Our Objective At Care Group Community Services, we strive to provide quality staffing who can deliver a range of support services to vulnerable individuals displaying challenging behaviours and high complex needs within the NSW, QLD, VIC and ACT region.
Position purpose The Quality & Compliance Manager oversees quality assurance and compliance functions and processes for the organization. As part of this, the Quality & Compliance Manager undertakes responsibility for tasks related to quality management system and processes, document control, internal and external audits, and accreditation/contractual requirements, to support the on-going sustainability and viability of the organization.

A degree level qualification in relevant governance or compliance-related discipline (e.g., risk management, compliance, health management) highly regarded but not essential Experience working in a quality or compliance function, preferably in the health or community services sector Proven experience in quality/accreditation audits, tools, and resources Well-developed communication skills, with proven ability to resolve differences of opinion/perspective Confident in management of interpersonal conflict and differences of opinion/perspective Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment An understanding of and commitment to the principles of workplace diversity, participative work practices and workplace health and safety Knowledge of various issues facing people with disabilities, dual and multiple A good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite or ability to learn database entries Sound experience of person-centered active support and person-centered planning principles The ability to work effectively as part of a team, good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, plus a genuine and passionate commitment to the rights of people with a disability to enjoy fulfilled lives and valued roles within the community Key Responsibilities Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Mandatory & restricted practice reporting & authorisation Leadership and development Risk and Workplace Health & Safety Duty of care Other Duties: Diversity & Equity Continuous Professional Development Mandatory Compliance Documents NDIS Workers Screening Check National Criminal Record Check Working with Children's Check Proof of mandatory COVID-19 vaccination status NDIS Orientation Module NDIS COVID-19 Infection Control Module We are a child safe organization
